Calling ISU a "normal" university is pretty funny because there isn't much normal about it!! I can say that as I am a proud alum. Well after they took "Normal" out of the title. I was a resident of Watterson Towers the year the transformer blew and we had to evacuate for over a week. I used to hang out alot at Joe's Bar & Grill, which I believe went out of business not too long after I graduated. Pub II was also a depository of many funds.
