I agree with Jimmy. INTC is the best buy:

Low PE; promising earnings (still growing demand for PCs).

AMD has alot of problems to solve. I would look for AMD at the
mid teens to high teens (i.e. around $18).

TXN has gone up alot this year. I don't believe TXN is undervalued.

CRUS had gone up alot this year. The 12 3/4 correction was LONG
overdue. I wouldn't put money into CRUS. Cirrus Logic has
alot of competition. If you want to invest in this area, I suggest
S3 (SIII) or Trident.

Intel is still the best buy. My advice for you would be to buy
into at least 2 or 3 different companies - never sink everything
into one stock.

For big stocks I only hold Intel (INTC), Exxon (XON), and US
Robotics (USRX).

Small companies I own Xicor (XICO), Catalyst Semiconductor (CATS),
and Actel.

I would focus on at least 2 different areas of technology if you only want
to invest in technology stocks.

Downgrading and selling off of chip stocks has made many
Flash memory
and FPGAs good areas to invest. I do not highly suggest memory makers (i.e. MU, ISSI, Cypress Semi, etc.) because of their
extreme volatility.

Charts are available in the Profiles for all of the stocks I have
mentioned (except for Exxon...oil, by the way, is a good investment
at the moment).

If the fundamentals are good, buy the stock during a correction
(like today or tomorrow...NASDAQ got hit pretty hard today...look
for the market to move higher by Friday--unless the gov't don't
take action).
