Paul, 804MHz cryo-cooled Katmai shows that Katmai will top out at 600 MHz max.
You will recall your hyena laughs a year ago when Intel demonstrated a 400+ MHz KLAMATH running with external cooling and built on a 0.35 micron process.

The 0.35 Klamath stopped at 300 MHz, less than 75% of its cryo-cooled "400+" MHz. Similarly, the Katmai will not exceed 600 MHz for a guaranteed, non-hyper-cooled, resonable-yield part.

Seeing as Atiq Raza said the K7 will "launch" at "higher than 500 MHz" (Maximum PC Vol.3 #9), The K7 will probably start at 550 MHz and top out at 700 MHz for the 0.25µ version.
