Recollecting the old July 16, 1998 press release:

-----------
NORTHBROOK, Ill., July 16 /PRNewswire/ -- The Children's Beverage Group, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: TCBG) announces that the first "rip it sip it(TM)" Brain Forest(TM) brand straw-in-the-pouch drink packages containing 10% fruit juice have begun rolling off their exclusive Volpak production line. Their patent-pending drink packages are being produced weeks ahead of schedule and being shipped to retailers in the Chicagoland region of the Midwest.

TCBG's President & CEO, Jon Darmstadter says, "We are pleased that our Brain Forest(TM) products are being produced, shipped and sold for the first time. <snip>
--------------

"and sold for the first time."

In retrospect, this old news looks flaky. I can't see a productive angle for this inaccurate announcement. Sadly, TCBG news needs to be read with some skepticism.

Shoe.
