Did anyone else derive solace (as I did) from what was omitted from the announcement of writeoff on 10/2; i.e. no preannouncement for Q3?

Hard for me to imagine a company announcing what they did after the close of a quarter, and failing to warn if a warning was forthcoming.

If that's true and the quarter is on target, this pup has to be a pretty big steal here, so I did my part and bellied up the bar for some more....
