I wasn't limiting my response to infidelity. I am a father of three daughters. The encapsulation definition applies here to. If we encapsulate the sexual relations to what you are defining as premarital, well why would that be such a big deal for Dad? But if premarital doesn't become marital then it isn't really premarital. If it becomes a pattern of premarital relations, we all stop calling it premarital. Looking back over the last couple of generations, I just don't see the typical situation being described by the participants as a beautiful period of sexual expression, except during the encapsulation. Most people see such things as a learning experience that they don't want to repeat. The difference is marriages don't have to be encapsulated. Have I over used that word yet?
