Big D.. your comment comparing German's acceptance of Hitler with American's acceptance of Clinton on economic grounds is really twisted. I'm surprized no one here like Les, Zoltan, bp or Rick didn't pick up on the absurdity.
Yes, to grant your logic a very narrow window of understanding, both our country and Germany in the late '30s enjoy good times, and some use the good times to validate their support. BUT...
Germany under Hitler was not America under Clinton by any stretch of stupidity or political comparison.
Hitler destroyed the electoral process and made himself the only party in Germany, eventually becomming a dictator.
Hitler, if you haven't heard yet, declared war on its neighbors including most of Europe.
Hitler, instead of having a pattern of trying to hide a sexual misconduct, had a pattern of rounding up German, Czech, Polish, French, Italian, Hungarian and Russian Jews to systematically put them to death.
I do hope you see the difference and that others are wise enough to help you if this doesn't.
