Simon, now you see the point of my original post. What have they been doing? Kinda scary huh? Time to market for the previous incremental products has been poor as I already stated. You asked about the delays for Banshee so here you go. The Company is currently developing Banshee, a proprietary 3D/2D single chip solution which the Company expects will be available for commercial shipment in the first quarter of 1998. www4.edgar-online.com The Company expects to begin commercial shipments of Banshee in the second quarter of 1998. www4.edgar-online.com The Company is currently developing Banshee, a proprietary 3D/2D single chip solution which the Company plans to have in production quantities in the third quarter of 1998. www4.edgar-online.com The company said that they delayed Banshee in order to get V2 out, but 3dfx had been developing both products for a long time by then. The simple fact of the matter is that their timeline slipped and they blamed it on changing priorities. Check the first link I posted which states they are working on BOTH Voodoo2 and Banshee but Banshee is expected 1Q98. Their press release made it sound like Voodoo2 just appeared and so Banshee was taking a back seat. If this were true then their initial timeline would reflect the later date, not 1Q98. Trust me when I say similar delays happened with Rush. I just don't have the energy to hunt these items down. Pat
