I must say that the Quantum tech support was accessible and supportive. BTW, Scott, I'm running Win98, not NT. When I run Need for Speed3 I get the error message:

Exception caught!
EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION: read attempted @0XFFF....then a lot of hex address stuff.

In Quake2 I select hardware glide and it tries to change but defaults back to software acceleration.

These, I'm pretty sure, are driver related and not my machine setup. I don't really notice the 2d performance increase since I replaced a #9 revolution 16Mb that Tomshardware showed to have superior 2d.

Don't get me wrong, I'm pleased with the card but I am disappointed that I have to wait a little longer to improve my digitized reality. It's like getting a new pair of glasses, I got the frames but have to wait on the lenses.
I guess I'll play Rush or NFL blitz while I'm waiting.

Tony
