Browser stability...email

I can't help much with relative stability but I will throw in my two cents on the browser issue.

I switched from Explorer to Netscape about a year and a half ago. I use Netscape Communicator (4.04) because I can configure two ISP accounts. I could never figure out how to set up multiple ISP/email accounts in Explorer. Netscape seems like it is a step ahead of Explorer on the SI site (as of last year). For example Netscape held the html tags and Explorer did not in the respond window after using the edit function(ver 3.x).

I do not close the browser when I disconnect from the ISP. I usually have six to twelve browser windows open at once. This works for about a week before a crash. It's a guarantee that it will crash.

I had a couple of bad experiences with Explore 4.x. I tried to upgrade on my last machine. It did not work. I uninstalled and then the machine would not boot. I had to start a complete new software load just because of a browser.

Starting from scratch with Win98 and Explorer 4.x worked a lot better. I do not recall any stability problems but I did not use it for very long. I switched back to Win95 as the virtual resolution with my MII card in Win98 s**ks.

I am not happy with my email setup. I do not like having to log onto both ISP's just to get mail. Once I log on and download the mail it is not available from another computer. I am considering a third party web hosting service. One with good on site mail capability and a lot of storage space. I would be able to access files and mail from any computer, work, home,or ...

Opera sounds like my kind of browser.
