chuckie <When that 50 something year old realizes his 401k or Index fund is about to get smoked> A lot of us 401k'ers waited until 59 1/2 to move our money over to a brokerage IRA to invest in individual stocks. My thoughts are that there are a considerable number of 60+ investors who are really getting nervous as they see that their worth has already dropped 30-40% ,more bad news comes day after day and they are still in the market.
