Roger,
You are getting goofier by the minute. Now you are claiming that only you have read the 10-K. ROTFLMAO. Assumming that you really did get a short position at 49.5, you must be in alot of pain. But hell, there are stoic people, especially engineers like you.
You feel that I am insulting you? How about you insulting everybody's intellgience by pursuing a strategy of shorting a stock on its way up to 70? Are you being contrarian just for its own sake? Did they teach you that at engineering school?
Or perhaps you want to play the Guru Game. THat's when you suddenly pop up on a board where the stock has reached a new high and proclaim disaster. If you are wrong, you just slouch away and count on people mercifully forgetting your name (didn't work for SOROS or Wyn Quon or Mondoman). If you are right, then you can strut around and tell everybody what a genius you are.
Carl, You hit the nail right on the head. The best time to short...is a new recent low. Most of the people (allegedly) shorting ZITL think the trick is to short when somehting reaches a new high. They don't know the first thing about.
Mondoman, Funny, even FIdelity has only a few hundred shares of ZItel to short, yet you are claiming a friend got 25K with no problem? I'd warn your friend, Mondo, he might have gotten a wrong number. In fact, I think he got Sal Sells number, and Sal will sel you anything as long as you pay cash up front!
All, Many people are placing tight stop losses on Zitel. THese stops are creeping up towards the market price. A small profit trading session can easily turn into a rout when these comuter related selling develops. I took alot of my money off the table today because of this practice. If I am wrong, well, then I miss only new profits. Remember, "bears make money, ....etc."
