Well, if he is confined to selling the idea of asset allocation, risk management and related stuff, all he can do is to write a book, and that's it. Maybe he has to revise it after 10 years... but that's about all he can do. However if he has to rake in money month after month after month from subscribers, then he has to come up with something new in every issue. And that is where all this stuff about market timing (with "buying opportunities", "gift horses" etc. etc. etc.) gets in. Dipy.
