Jack,

RSI stands for Relative Strength Index. It is an oscillator used to monitor the changes in a stocks closing price. RSI is a very helpful tool in determining whether a stock is overbought or oversold. In the case of TLTK we have seen a range in RSI from ~38 to ~95.

As a basic rule in a Bull market, one can expect an RSI to be between 40 (oversold) and 80 (overbought). In the case of TLTK we have seen a little wider range of RSI. It is quite possible we will see it peak again (perhaps next week) in the 95 range. This could potentially signal a selling opportunity as it did during the last run up. The next day (after the fall) RSI was ~68 and eventually drifted down to the ~40 level.

Roger Brown first introduced RSI to the thread and he suggested a book entitled "Trading For A Living" by Dr. Alexander Elder. I have a copy of the book and I too am tracking RSI for TLTK. I'm also considering other statistical tools in the book to monitor the stock.

When the Income Statement and Balance Sheet for the third quarter gets published we need to keep a close eye on some of the critical ratios that can give us leads and clues as to the financial condition of TLTK. Such as the Current Ratio, the Quick Ratio, Average Receivables Rurnover, Return on Investments,....

There are a multitude of reference materials available at the bookstore on investment analysis. Pick one up, apply the principles and share your data on the thread.

Jim
