OK, here's a quick report on Banshee (I'll post more tomorrow after I sleep):

Good News:
- My old Permedia2 card is now a doorstop.
- Installation was a breeze.
- Unreal (217) worked right off the top.
- Quake2 works - although it needed the Pheonix MiniGL driver that Tony posted a link to. (I had just got it working when you posted it Tony - good job!)
- Quake2 textures look _slightly_ better than my Voodoo2 SLI setup (although this is a subjective comparison and may just be different Gamma settings).
- I _can_ switch between Banshee and V2 using the CreativeLabs batch file. (Have to reboot after switching though)
- Sin Demo also works with the Pheonix miniGL driver.
- DirectX games Shogo, MotoRacer, and SF Rush work fine.

Bad News:
- No Quake2 support in the box.
- No mention of Banshee drivers/patches on the Quantum site.
- Installation stomped on my V2 Glide drivers without a peep. Had to reinstall them.
- Can't have a desktop bigger than 1280x1024 despite box and README claims of 1600x1200 and even 1920x1440
- Glide in a window is (as far as I can tell) a myth. All of the games switched to software mode when they weren't full-screen. ;-(
- The Creative Labs batch file is incorrectly stored on their site (no LF/CRs). I had to edit it by hand (20 minutes down the drain - lemme know if you want it).
- BattleZone is now completely broken - not sure why but won't work under either Banshee or V2.
- Quake2 performance is fine up to 800x600. While it works at 1024x768, I found the FPS rate to be too low.
- The Shogo demo worked up to 1280x1024 mode but was unplayably slow above 800x600.
