John --- your list is great. I did one for the AOL board back in September and for what it's worth, here it is again. I included some industry highlights along with those specific to the company.

June 25, 1996---AMTX announces the industry's first "board-level modem design product for ADSL services using standard DMT technology. "A 2-daughter board set, and central office module (COM) and remote subscriber module (RSM)."

This leaves out the final NEC partnership agreement and the results of the France Telecomm trials. It also leaves out developments by the FCC and mergers in the industry, such as BT/MCI, deregulation of international telcos, such as in Japan, and recent developments with ISPs and pricing. Another line of argument could be made for the demise of strength in the cable industry. Also it would be fun to chart the major "sightings" of ADSL articles and see if there's been any slow-down in recent weeks.

Thanks for getting the synapses rolling this morning.

Regards,

Pat
