At a point in time I owned every stock on that list except SAP. I stopped owning long range stocks since the last week in September while slowly selling off during the September rallies. I decided to hold about 2 stocks for 2 months and the rest for varying intervals. The ones I planned to two months NEON,INTV, NTAP I 'escaped' one yesterday morning with another gain and NEON before the market tanked, and INTV after a few weeks. Now I have no long time holds at all. MSFT,DELL, INTC I sold after an 18-24 month hold last week, I sold CSCO months ago. I sold WLA,MRK in september as well. I closed my porftolio and no longer have a broker account. I closed it after 10 years. (5 years with H&Q and 5 with AG Edwards) Needless to say they were sorry to lose my business, such that it was, trimming off capital little by little the past year. It will take me a while to build up enough confidence in this market to hold for long periods again. I don't mind a market that trades on greed, but I won't be part of a market that trades on fear.
