I have committed the ultimate computer geek sin!!!!!!
I decided that while I was on this trip, it would be a good time to send my computer in for the upgrades that I have been wanting. New mother board 300mhz, new LS120 floppy, second 7GB hard drive, etc. Got a call at Dad's from the tech asking if I wanted to put on "98", before my brain kicked in, those foul words came rushing out of my mouth, "SURE, WHY NOT". I am going to burn for this, I have to write this off line as I cannot seem to stay on line long enough to do anything. Bear with me for the next few days. I do have a major problem????? 98 and 95 fight each other. In the process of trying to get things straightened out, I have lost everything on my original drive, stories (that I have been collecting for months), all e-mail, address lists, financials, news releases, everything. Those that would like to still stay in contact, please send me an e-mail so that I can try to rebuild my address book. Anyway, will try to check in as much as I can until I get things going right. Have a great day, and BTW, what have I missed?????? And what does the number 47 mean???
