An interesting new micro-cap ADR from Australia is Geo2 (OTC 'GEOTY'). New web-site at aircommunications.net They are indirectly involved in goldmining via a small refinery they own in China which is stepping up operations to produce 200-250,000 ozs plus major silver and other metals credits within four years. Have also developed non-cyanide process technology which is being joint ventured for mine-site trials. This technology reduces the oxidation of sulphides from the current 24 hours to 2-3 hours. Newmont has bought some of Geo2 technology and is testing GPP technology for use in their new bio-ox process for sulphides. Geo2 claims that their new technologies will drastically reduce the cost of mining gold, the process units can be minaturized and placed inside a mine at the mine face where processing takes place.
