Ken,

A few messages back I named some Year 2000 stock rides.

Another "interesting" category for hype is biotechnology. Guess who is involved there? Why, Shawn, of course.

HOWEVER, it appears HE got burned by someone hyping ADVR, an AIDS drug. Check out:

techstocks.com

Athough I must say I think it is kind of strange he hyped CSGI even on that forum!

This all leads me to the conclusion that Shawn is NOT a scam artist, in that I do not think he intentionally tries to mislead anyone to make money. Whether he really has sources, or whether he makes some things up I guess we'll never know. Therefore, my guess is that once his picks start going up (few stocks always go just one way), he'll be back and things will start getting interesting again.

As for me, I am going overseas tomorrow for my vacation (I know, how convenient), but I'll be back 1/9 to see how all this plays out. I expect to find Shawn here, back in fine form <g>.

- Jeff
