The oath does not make exceptions for sex affairs. It requires the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Clinton had two choices: to tell the truth or refuse to answer. He did not have the choice of lying. At any rate, what is the significance to the market? I refuse to believe that our prosperity requires that we have a dishonorable liar in the presidency.
