There's a lot of talk about moral hazard today. Should someone who spent every dime he ever earned live as well in retirement as someone who thought ahead, gave up some immediate gratification, and saved and invested? What is the reward for life long savings? Alternate minimum taxes. And anything they don't get while you're alive the Government confiscates the bulk of when you die.
