First of all, there is nothing in the constitution against the Bible, and because of Freedom of Religion, there never should be. If there is, the Supreme Court would completely go against everything the Founding Fathers stood for. They came to this country to escape people telling them how to worship, you know!
Yes, the Bible must come first in our allegiance. The law of this country is more lenient, but it is about things we are PERMITTED to do which are against Scripture, such as abortion and premarital sex. Some things we are permitted to do some Christians find against their convictions, such as the right to bear arms. But nowhere in the
Constitution are we forbidden to do good as the Bible instructs us to. The laws of this land, believe it or not, are based on the Bible and on the Ten Commandments.
Sir, why are you so angry at God? You are basing your opinion of Him on people you have obviously been disappointed in. You need not look to people to find God. They will always let you down. I challenge you to search the Bible yourself and you will find true freedom, because the Bible is truth and the truth is the only thing that will ever make you free. You will find unconditional love in the love of Jesus, something you will never find from people, no matter how long you search. You will not find, however, unconditional acceptance of sin, because God loves the sinner but hates the sin. So if you're looking for someone to tell you you can kill your babies, engage in any immoral activity or hate people, don't bother looking to God. But if you're looking for love eternal and a joy and peace nothing else can ever supply, not to mention eternal life in Heaven, look to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Commit your life to Him and get involved in a Bible believing church where your faith can grow and you will have all the answers you're seeking. Then you won't need to question us Evangelical Born Again Christians on the Internet!
