Do you really believe the people you interact with every day feel this way? >> Let's start with public comments made by leaders of the various factions supporting Clinton - the feminist leaders (on national television) said that they support Clinton because they are afraid that the gains they have made over the last 20 years would be lost if he were removed from office. Pretty blunt, isn't it. The Black Caucus said the same thing - Clinton supported them when they needed him, now it's their turn to support him. They all admit that what he did was deplorable, and that they support him specifically because he supports their causes. Read the other postings on this board - the everyday people here are saying the same thing - look at Michelle's posts for a good example. Do I really believe the people I work with feel this way - yes - they have told me so in no uncertain terms. <<I think saying that people that support Clinton would support a cannibal of children is a ludicrous comparison. Get real!>> Notice that I said they would if they could figure out how - we all know they could never figure out how, so they wouldn't actually support him. I still think the comparison is apt - the feminists support someone who violates the very principles they stand for. The human rights people support someone who bombs innocent civilians. Everyone deplores his actions, but they support him anyway, because he promotes their agenda. Welcome to the real world.
