Dipy, a couple of points - as much as Brinker would love to rant about his being able to pulse investor intelligence as a "contrarian," I am not sure if he realizes that he himself is becoming a contrary signal. The way I see it is that, at the onset of the bear market, whatever worked in the recent memory will cease to work. As I have said before, without too much of bearishness we will not get in to a bear market. Yet, Bob thinks that excess bearishness is bullishness. That is plain simple BS, IMO.

Re. #reply-5919162 That WAS more or less what my opinion was. But, I have lost a lot of respect for Bob recently. I no longer think highly of him. In my books, his biggest folly is lack of humility.
