The courts are wrong! People have started to treat buying stock like a day at the casino (hence the reason I think internet trading should be illegal). This type of buying and selling (timing the market or trying to) can't be prevented by a broker. If the application says aggressive investor then all a broker can do is give the best advice possible. In the final analysis however, it is the clients money. Period! If the risk profile fits the trade, losses can not and should not be blamed on the broker.
