To Thread;

Well here we go again. In talking to my broker who keeps pretty good tabs on cpq he said the channel stuffing fear is going to haunt cpq until it is proven otherwise. He said, "frankly, very few people believe cpq. Their credibility isn't what it used to be".

I certainly can empathize with Elwood. This stock has languished for over a year now. It's tough to be patient. Personally, I doubt any serious channel stuffing is going on. Unfortunately, in a market driven by fear the mere hint of stuffing (as was the case today) is enough to send the stock south.

Oh by the way, the general consenses is that cpq will not surprise one way or the other. CPQ will make the books come out to match the projected numbers. Unfortunately, analysts are wondering whether or not cpq matched their estimates with channel stuffing to a slight degree just to hit the number. Can you really blame them for being cynical??
