"Your real estate pension manager is telling you about his performance. I'm sure there are big losses from greedy over-extension. If that person is telling you real estate across the country is on average falling in price, that is a view that is inconsistent with the reported statistics. Is that another of your hysterical conclusions gleaned from the media.".when you feel threatened do you attack? the fund manager is a woman who is quite prudent and has a highly responsible job and who said office prices have been coming down in Boston and in New York..an article in NYT a couple of weeks ago apartments have come down about 10 percent..anaother acquaintance who is in the rental and selling of apartments told me that one I tend to read little commentary and more actual numbers..
