Obviously is was a great accident. The Universe was either in the process of contracting and was small enough mass to go critical in a super atomic explosion or was happy enough to be a small dark mass with no dimension and no energy except potential mass energy and then some jerk had to go and push the button marked "Danger, Universe Creation" Of course he was in a lot of trouble then because he let out god and de debil and all de saints and de boogeyman mumquallah.
What caused it? We can only look for fingerprints and as they say, follow the money trail. It may have been the great bimboe looking for a good time, that just willed herself into being so she could stand by cosmic streetlight and lure spacedust into spending all its energy at the universal bordello. Or it could have been the universal cratchity old geezer with a long white beard and an ornery attitude that just could not stand that inert black hole sticking around his space cabin any longer so he gave it a swat.

I think time is the GREAT WATCH tick tocking away. It is no doubt a timex because what would take all that acceleration and keep on ticking? If its true that energy creates time then it must run at different speeds at different energy levels. It runs at different speeds at different velocities and gravitational fields so it may at different temperatures too but the equations do not tell us that. What we are working on may be average gravity field time. When the Universe was the size of a pinhead and infinite mass or very great mass time was slowly moving. But its finite movement may have precipitated change in matter sufficient to trigger the bang big.

The problem is in the measurement. As matter differentiates and loses heat we become less a less able to tell time. No molecular measuer will work as the measurerer and the measured are the same. So time dies with heat in that sense. By the equation and conventional measurement though as mass dies (it is equivalent to energy so it must die as energy dies)..then gravity disappears and time speeds up. Perhaps time itself racing at infinite speed can cause the energy to cause the collapse of the universe a the ultimate recycle.
