Let's look at a company like Motorola. They now have a market cap of about $25 billion. They hemorrhaged money for the last year and have practically no growth rate. Dell is pulling in over $1 billion in profits every year, is growing at a fantastic rate, and is exceptionally well-managed. Dell's market cap is a little over $70 billion. In comparing valuations on these two tech companies, I'd say Dell is pretty fairly valued right now.
