Well said, and had I read your post first, I probably would not have bothered with mine. One point that needs attention is the effect of this lawsuit on Terje's employment. Was Paul's hurt so substantial that his action may cause Terje to lose his job? Are we all so totally devoid of humanity that we can only think about our own wounds and not about others? If Paul is as successful a "retired hobbiest" as he says, and Terje has to work for a living (I believe he said he was a programmer), is this the kind of outcome that Paul would really want? Because his actions may very well bring it about.
