John - as you already know I have a similar trading system.

About 2/3 of my day trades and very short trades comes from my portfolio of 100 stocks. I have been following about 75 of these 100 stocks 1-2 years on a daily basis. By researching these stocks to death and knowing each of their trading styles I feel a lot more comfortable taking a position when the proper time arises. I find that I have a much harder time "pulling the trigger" on stocks I know nothing or very little about even when the momentum, price and charts are saying buy. I would probably follow more than 100 stocks but that is all stockwatch lets me enter.

The other 1/3 of my trades are momentum trades that I know very little about. Like most of you I check for high volume - high flyers and ride the wave on these stocks.

So what are some of the stocks I follow on a regular basis?? Funny enough, a lot of them are ones that are mentioned on this thread a lot. I also follow a lot of mining juniors.

Some of the big boys I trade in the past few weeks

ABX, ABZ, AC, AL, BBD.B, LMD, PDG, TEK.B, CM, RYO, BMO, NTL, EN, FN, N

Some of the juniors - GUR, GOU, WSP, JDX, QTR, PDG

Best Regards
KEITH
