OC-12 is currently the fastest (realistically) available speed for ATM LANs. After Gigabit Ethernet the current options are to link multiple gigabit streams together. Terrabit Ethernet is still a ways out. <<Also, it seems to me that the Voice over IP and Voice over Network is the next great opportunity for companies such as COMS, CSCO, LU, NT, etc. How do you think COMS is positioned in this market? What is the market? This to me seems to be huge as we're looking towards the future.>> COMS has invested heavily in VOIP technology and VO-ATM. Their installed base of Total Control with the large carriers is part of this strategy. PathBuilder products handle VO-ATM. EB has referenced large bids COMS is competing for with analysts - no word on outcome.
