The Euro will be a work in progress for the first year or so.

They have to get a money supply definition; they need to bring the New Central Bank up to speed; money markets will probably consolidate in Frankfurt eventually..one stock exchange..one money market. The Euro will become the world's other currency and will compete with the dollar. I think investors already know this and are buying DM and FF why is the US$ fading so fast?? against the DM and the YEN? If Greenspan cuts rates too much he will send the $ to the cellar. Maybe thats good for trade but the bond market had better duck. There will be a flight from $$ denominated assets.
