Who wants to buy a slow core? ACER ACER ACER
The change in road map along with the change in Foundry Partner
spells Acer using WinChip everywhere. The only question now is
how this will shake out? A buyout which fits Acer's goals in
2 major ways a new fab in the US for the foundry business and
a cheap x86 core for the embedded x86 everywhere business which
are the 2 major thrusts of Acer.If it turns into a IBM/Cyrix
type of deal this would be ok but not as good as a buyout.
Now what kind of price lets see: 9-11 bucks per share and
the majority is happy.
