I "do my reading", and I worked for NeXT for a year, and I never saw this figure quoted. Why don't you tell us where YOU found this information?
> You don't shop the company unless things are desperate.
Really? So UUNET was a failing company when bought by MFST? And they were desparate when bought by WCOM? And Lotus was desparate when bought by IBM? I totally disagree. Big fish and little fish, companies are bought all the time. For many companies it is a sign of success to become bought out by a large suitor.
> And from your own admissions, it sounds like they were, > are, and will be.
Please don't attempt to twist my own words around to mean something else. If I said something in particular, please quote it, everything is available on this bulletin board for your copying and pasting pleasure.
I don't care much for your manner of discourse, you make a lot of statements intended to be bold and shocking with little information behind them, while attempting discredit everyone that disagrees with you. If we disagree, so be it, but try to keep the conversation on a level above playground name calling.
