Bob,

I do not have Mtech R534 motherboard to offer any suggestion. I have been encountering RAM related problems with my 6x86-166Mhz myself. As a matter of fact, one of the 4 pcs. 8MB EDO has been burned out while running at 83Mhz bus speed on ASUS T2P4. When I bought these 60ns EDO at computer show, the reading on RAM checking device showed 35ns.

You might need to get faster RAM to work reiably at 75Mhz bus speed. On the other hand, you might adjust for a more conversative CMOS setup to stablize the system.
