Digital sold much of their networking business to Cabletron just before the merger. CPQ has a fair amount of technology in this area from purchase of Networth and Thomas-Conrad. Some of the components are CPQ designed and built, some are CPQ designed & built by Cabletron, and some are DEC/Cabletron designs under the agreements with DEC. Hope that clears it up a little...
