FMAT System Provides Technology Access for Accelerated Pharmaceutical Lead Discovery New Fluorometric Microvolume Assay Technology To Be Licensed biz.yahoo.com This is one of 3 press announcements from PKN that came out after the market making four for the day. I am very impressed by the technology of Biometric Imaging that is the partner of PKN on the FMAT system. The company is not yet public but was started by the founder of Molecular Dynamics and other companies. The FMAT system has tremendous potential in high-throughput screening and other assays. It is a new direction for PKN but capitalizes on their expertise in instrumentation and fluorescence. I don't know if PKN has an investment in Biometric Imaging but it is a good partnership. Neither short or long in PKN yet.
