Electrophorectics International is the company with the BSE test.
Investors Chronicle, 19th April 1996
"Excitement that EI might be harbouring a diagnostic test for mad cow diseas gave a brief but startling fillip
to the groups share price recently".
Then a lot more text which boils down to "this company has several promising
diagnostic tests in development, but "other projects are at the early stage of development
and it has no marketing partners".
"They have about 12 months of spend left then will need another share issue."
"High Risk, High Enough (the share price)" is the ending comment.

Their shares are traded on AIM which is roughly the UK's equivalent of NASDAQ,
or maybe a bit less solid. (You wouldnt find any major UK companies listed on it,
they would go to the main stockmarket if they were big/succesful enough).

Joe Cittern
