Michael, I have a really good memory, and I remember most of the stupidly amusing fights we have had in the past. I just don't have the time to read several thousand posts to find the ones where you have attacked Wiccans or the U.S. Army discussion of them, but I am pretty sure of my facts.

I must say that if you think talking about burning witches is funny, specifically joking about bringing witch burning back, you are, in my opinion at least, revealing a very high level of insensitivity. While the estimates vary, somewhere between several hundred thousand to several million women have been burned as witches over the last several hundreds of years. There is absolutely nothing funny about that.

Your logic loses me when you deny so vehemently ever saying anything negative about Wiccans, but don't realize how negative your recent comments were Wiccans. Can you explain?

I feel no anguish at all towards you, so I am not sure what you are talking about. I just notice that we usually do not agree, and that sometimes your arguments are illogical, and that you drop out when really questioned, or try to prove your points in ways that are not really constructive ways of arguing.

There are several kinds of conservatives, and you fit quite well within the general definition. So I am not sure why you would think that you do not "fit my belief" of conservativism. What I brought up in the post about Gary Bauer is that the religious right in America is increasingly divided between libertarian and populist (for want of a more precise word) philosophies. No longer is the entire movement libertarian.
