Anything's possible, but also in the news today, CDNow and N2K are combining. Will that be taken as implying they can't compete with Amazon? Probably by some, but news that Amazon faces a bigger and stronger (no debt, over $100 million combined cash, earlier start in music retailing, bigger share) competitor in music on top of the news that B&N and Bertelsmann are joining forces, not to mention the latter's existing huge music business (BMG), can't really be good news.
It also appears that long-time lover of high flyers, Jim Cramer, is looking for a fall in a long list including AMZN, YHOO, AOL and even -drum roll please- DELL. He was talking them all down this morning on Squawk Box.
