Briefing reported several times last week that various analysts are predicting that ATHM will actually earn a profit for this quarter. That would be well above the expected loss. However, one of those reports showed a table of one of the analysts' previous forecasts for stocks that might beat estimates. In each case, the stock did beat but then traded below the pre-earnings price three days later. I apologize, I don't have a link. It was posted on Briefing's daily "Story Stocks" page.
