Luc, I was at the 1984 playoffs against the Cubs and also the Detroit World Series. It sure beat the Padres NOT making the World Series. This year's Padres, while they've been in a slump for the past month, are not chopped liver. Remember the 1954 Indians. Or as Yogi Berra said, "It ain't over 'til it's over."

Of course that doesn't seem to apply to tmmi. It's over for them, having already finished in last place.
