Questions for anyone in the know: How will vrts's merger affect emc's push into software? How much does emc compete directly with vrts and lgto? Software is emc's fastest growing and most profitable component. Probably, as the software segment did this quarter, so will emc's stock do as earnings are announced. And how much trouble will Latin America prove to be for emc in the future? I am sure they will get asked about this since supposedly they do quite a bit of business there.
