I'm surprised that there isn't any talk on this thread about the fact that AMD is already shipping 400 Mhz K6-2 in this quarter (maybe I missed it in late night posts last night).

What the heck does this mean? Coming from Jerry Sanders, I'd normally take this statement with one huge grain of salt. If Sanders is referring to 400 MHz samples, then by his definition, Intel's Katmai was already shipping during the summer. But if Sanders meant that the Tier 1 guys like Compaq are getting their 400 MHz K6-2 systems ready for the Christmas season, then that would be good news.

And by the way, WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO AMD STOCK TODAY?!? Guess I'll be holding onto AMD for a little longer than I thought. Seems like I bought hoping to ride the wave after an upside surprise. Now that I find out that people were "expecting a surprise" yesterday, I guess the surprise is on me.
