History of the nickname "Cheeky Kid" Many years ago when I was about ten, I was at my uncles house (he was a self employed electronic repair technician). I was fascinated with all the electronic gadgets. One of these gadgets was his CB radio with a 75-foot antenna. Could talk to people all over North America, when conditions were right. One night I was talking to some guy hundreds of miles away, and during the conversation I must have been a bit cheeky, because the guy I was talking to said to me, and I quote: "Boy, You Are a Cheeky Kid!!" Since that day, that was my nickname. My uncle Eddie was my best friend. He passed away many years ago. So that nickname has some special meaning to me. You can't take the kid out of Cheeky, and you can't take the cheeky out of this Kid. Cheeky Kid (Formerly Sire)
