Jeff,

In a recent report to the legislature, it was stated that all state agencies have started working on the Y2K problem. Their states of readiness vary from "almost complete" to "yes, we have decided we have a problem." The latest legislative decree is that any agency that is not at least 1/2 through with their Y2K project must come and testify before the legislative committee.

Last week I called my Credit Union where my check is automatically deposited monthly. I questioned the Credit Union's Y2K status - the answerer bubbled, "Oh, you have nothing to worry about, all our supervisors met last week and learned all about this Y2K stuff!"

Give me strength...

Norma
