David: Last week you stated that you heard that CUBE will meet or beat
by only pennies, the .44 estimates for 4Q.
On Dec 5th, you stated that "the 4th quarter is already in the bag". The
stock was at 45. Historically, significant portions of the quarter's
revs are recognized in the last month of the quarter.
The only reconciliation on the above statements that I can make is that
a large increase in receivable bookings will show in Q4.

Q#1 Do you still believe numbers were made by early Dec. and that the
historic trends played out in December?

You also mentioned on Dec 5th that the numbers for VCD in Q4 are "much"
better than expected.

Q#2 What expectations are you referring to? Co., at beginning of year,
thought that they could do 5mm units which would leave about 1.7mm left
for the Q4. Do you think this number will be surpassed? How about 2mm?

Q#3 Have you heard of any results out of India?

If I hadn't seen the insiders bailing out of stock in late October, I would
be very comfortable. But I have been forced to look at a doomsday scenario or
two. And they can be ameliorated by some positive developments on the other
side of the ledger. (Concerns center around costs out of DiviCom bringing est
to .41. This is speculation only and preliminary to my expected conversation with J. Burke
next week)

Thank you
