WOW what a post and a half. I decided to jump in today after much thought, and thought I would get caught up on this thread. Here is my reasoning. Luck plays a big part in diamond exploration. Montello was almost at the end of their tether for luck and then PRESTO!!! They found a pipe. One good pipe is all it takes to have a mine. If the have one pipe and Kennecott as a partner they will if you play the odds have more. Remember, they only need one pipe to win at this game. I've been at this game a long time and feel I know a thing or two about playing it, i.e. the exploration scene. Based on that I am a great believer in luck. GO MONTELLO>>>> Oh by the way, there is an 80% chance the pipe is diamond bearing and a one in twenty chance it will be mineable. over and out - aj
